Responsibilities:


Position Overview:


As a Marketing and Communications Project Assistant, you will play a role in crafting and delivering compelling content across various channels.

You'll enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and support our mission. This position offers valuable experience in marketing, communications, and design.


Responsibilities:


Content Creation:
Develop and deliver engaging content, including web copy, social media posts, newsletters, marketing collateral, and more.


Collaboration:
Work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, supporting team members in various tasks and projects.


Social Media Management:
Draft, propose, and create social media content according to a schedule. Identify opportunities for brand exposure and connection.


Networking:
Liaise with our programming team and external partners to explore networking opportunities and potential event participation.


Data Analysis:
Assist the Digital Marketing Manager in analyzing performance metrics and optimizing engagement strategies.


Social Media Strategy:
Contribute to developing our social media strategy, including content creation, scheduling, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments and messages.


Customer Feedback Integration:

Collaborate with the customer support team to ensure that customer feedback informs and enhances our marketing efforts and user experience.


Qualifications:

  • Experience with WordPress is preferred.
  • Copywriting experience is a plus.

Education, Experience, Skills, Knowledge & Ability:

  • Experience developing videos, articles, website, and social media content.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time anagement skills.
  • Responsible, adaptable, and eager to learn, showing initiative.
  • Ability to multi task, determine priorities, and work with deadlines.
  • Competent in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Competent with various online social networks (Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin).

Learning opportunities:
This role will provide you with hands-on experience in marketing and communications. You'll develop content creation, design, writing and data analysis skills while contributing to real-world projects.
