  • In accordance with the established vision and values of the organization, the Coordinator, Agency Deployment works in partnership across the organization to lead, cultivate and facilitate a range of activities related to external agency staff deployment. The Coordinator is responsible for engaging with managers across the organization to assess vacancy and staffing requirements, and works with external agency partners to meet the identified needs in a way that triages the effective utilization of external agency staff resources within the Northern Health Service Delivery Area's (HSDA's). The incumbent supports the coordination and implementation of the departmental initiatives related to the deployment of agency resources within the Northern Health (NH) Service Delivery Areas (HSDA's). The Coordinator has a key role in developing implementation plans for the initiatives above by gathering data, determining priorities, planning, setting deadlines and ensuring targets are met. The incumbent will provide input on new policies, recommendations for process improvement and service delivery initiatives related to the deployment to agency resources. Research complex problems and develop recommendations for resolution. Liaises with external carriers, other employers, regulatory bodies and government agencies as required to share information, clarify discrepancies, resolve problems and deal with employee concerns.
  • Starting salary will be approximately from $60,427 to $75,533 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.

Qualifications:


  • Diploma of Business Administration from an accredited institution, plus three (3) to five (5) years progressive administrative assistant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Skills and Abilities:


  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with physicians and key stakeholders in an effective and professional manner.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various internal and external partners to develop strategic relationships.
  • Effective promotional and marketing skills.
  • Experience in Project Management and/or Quality Improvement considered an asset.
  • Ability to foster effective working relationships, both internal and external, at all levels across multiple sites and organizations.
  • Ability to organize and catalogue multiple document types, including organizational policy, invoices and contracts
  • Ability to provide client focused services.
