The Legal Operations team is a small team with big scope that provides critical support to TELUS Legal.We work on a full range of initiatives including strategic planning and reporting, financial management, information governance, vendor management, and technology and process enablement.
We have a finger on the pulse of one of TELUS' most important enablement units and are focused on elevating the value the Legal team contributes to the TELUS organization.

As a highly motivated, business-minded, and detail-oriented professional, you are ready to work closely with the Director of Legal Operations and stakeholders at all levels of the company.
You will be key in optimizing the day-to-day productivity and effectiveness of the TELUS Legal team in a dynamic and complex environment.
Here's how
- Ensure technology tools are properly configured and operated to support internal processes
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve processes, including workflow and toolset improvement
- Act as the system administrator and primary point of contact for support requests related to the legal department's document management system (iManage) and financial management system (Legal Tracker).
- Analyze performance and results and provide insight to drive increased productivity, efficiency, quality, optimization, and the improvement of both client experience and business processes
- Participate in project efforts focused on operational optimization with a focus on workflow redesign and automation
Qualification:
You're the missing piece of the puzzle
- Acknowledged for strong business acumen, analytical, and problemsolving skills
- Recognized for implementing crossfunctional program plans and leading change initiatives
- Valued for your 5+ years of operations management, business analysis, and/or consulting experience
- Confident in engaging a broad set of stakeholders and collaborating with all levels of the leadership team
- Regarded for solid understanding of project management best practices
- Exercises judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations for solutions
- Able to effectively prioritize conflicting demands with a bias for action
- Passionate about process improvement and technology enablement
Great-to-haves
- Experience in developing, implementing, and using legal department technology solutions
- Demonstrable experience in operations and program or project management
- Undergraduate degree in business
