The Plant Controller is a key member of the St. Maurice management team and is responsible for maximizing plant profitability.

Responsibilities:

As a key member of the local management team, you will be responsible for making decisions with the goal of maximizing plant profitability.
Assess and communicate the financial impact of discussion points as they arise during meetings.
Manage changing priorities effectively and smoothly.
Communicate financial concepts/information effectively to nonfinancial personnel.
Build relationships with crossfunctional teams.
Measure and report on efficiencies and guide local management.
Prepare and present monthly financial statements that accurately reflect sales, margins, and expenses to measure performance versus plans and objectives.
Planning and budgeting.
Coordinate all financial aspects of the plant and help share best practices.

Qualifications:

College or University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, CMA, or CGMA preferred).
Good French and English, spoken and written.
4+ years experience in manufacturing plant accounting and controlling.
Strong Excel and software/systems skills.
Critical thinker and problem solver. Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment.
SAP experience preferred.
