We're looking for outgoing, professional, guest service driven individuals with cash handling experience who want to further their career as a Cage Cashier.

This role requires the Cage Cashier to work both independently and in a team environment.

As a Cage Cashier, you will maintain a cash float and conduct cash and chip transactions accurately, collect and count currency and chips, and verify and process various transactions.

This position requires flexibility for scheduling including early mornings, evenings, graveyards, holidays, and weekend shifts.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Handling cash transactions including but not limited to foreign currency exchange, traveler's cheques, short pays, over payments, cash counts, coins and bills
  • Redeeming value chips and gaming tickets for cash
  • Selling vouchers and value chips as required
  • Monitoring and reporting all discrepancies and suspicious cash activities
  • Issuing opening floats to Slot Attendants; reconciling closing floats
  • Documenting and reconciling transactions: may reconcile bank deposits and prepare revenue reports
  • Communicating effectively with all appropriate operational departments
  • Performing other duties as assigned or directed

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • One year experience in high volume cash handling preferred
  • Ability to stand and walk for all periods of time on a consistent basis
  • Must be able to differentiate denominations of chips and authenticity of currency;
  • Must be able to operate a computer, ten key adding machine and money counter
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to understand, speak and write English
  • A commitment to continually increase your knowledge of our products and services in order to offer exceptional experiences to our guests
  • The ability to obtain & maintain a criminal record and credit check through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch
  • Serving it Right Certification or ability to obtain a Serving it Right Certification

From $17.85 per hour
