    The ideal candidate will have experience with railcar repair, including cutting and welding on the rail body, as well as knowledge of AAR standards. This role requires strong mechanical skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.


     


    A successful Railcar Repair Technician will be able to perform quality repairs on railcars and their components, while adhering to health and safety standards. The technician must also possess excellent problem-solving skills and be comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and around machinery.




    • Previous experience with railcar repair

    • Knowledge of AAR standards

    • Cutting and welding abilities (SMAW)

    • Ability to inspect equipment for safe operation

    • Familiarity with hand tools and power equipment
