- Prepares proposals and establish project financial budgets
- Performs project contract drawing reviews (drawings, specifications, shop drawings, material submittals, etc.)
- Attends preconstruction meetings and document discussions
- Reviews and reports on project mockups
- Performs periodic site visits and utilize a site visit reporting system to identify and update action items
- Performs field testing to confirm building enclosure performance (water, air leakage, EFVM, infrared testing, etc.)
- Manages and coordinates small and large projects
- Conducts business development to secure revenuegenerating projects
- Client management
- Mentors junior staff
- Participates in continuing education
- Performs various office related tasks
- Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in building science consultation or equivalent knowledge of building envelope systems
- Organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks on multiple projects
- Project management experience
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong customer service commitment
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Professional attitude
- Commitment to succeed
- Pursuing registration either as a Professional Engineer or Registered Architect is a plus
