Unit Summary:
- The Diagnostic Imaging Department serves a wide range of adult and pediatric patients, offering services in Radiology, CT Scan, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Pet Scan, and Ultrasound.
Position Summary:
- The Registered X-Ray Technologist plays a vital role in conducting and assessing diagnostic imaging tests, providing patient care, and overseeing clinical and technical staff. Adherence to professional standards and the ability to make independent decisions in radiologic diagnosis are crucial.
Schedule:
Work hours will vary, spanning across days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications:
- Registered Technologist
- Active member of the College of Medical Radiation Technologist
- CAMRT registration required
- Minimum of 2 years hospital experience preferred
- Previous CT experience is a plus
- CT Imaging Certificate is preferred.
- Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory for employment.
