    Responsibilities Job Description

    AECOM is actively seeking a Graduate Electrical Engineering role to be based in Calgary, AB.

    This will be a full-time position starting as soon as possible.

    The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Help with the design and specification development for electrical power up to 25 KV and distribution systems power systems study, lighting and low tension systems (fire alarm, telecommunications and security) focused in low voltage applications.
  • Assist with the design and specification of power systems, instrumentation and process control devices for various processes including water/wastewater treatment and industrial applications.
  • Will gain experience in with institutional, commercial and light industrial projects. Exposure to Water and Waste Water treatment processes an asset
  • Help design experience with power system design and analysis, including Solar and EV integration.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness and quality of technical information and project documentation in accordance with QA/QC programs;
  • Assist in the team achieving engineering deliverables (e.g., drawings, specifications, analysis and reports) comply with applicable regulations, standards, corporate procedures and sound engineering practices;
  • Work closely with other discipline Engineers, Designers and Project Managers as a key team player within an integrated multi-disciplinary project delivery team
  • Required ability to help manage, organize and participate in multiple work assignments including production support of contract documents as required
