GENERAL SUMMARY:


Reporting into the operations Supply Chain Manager, the Operations Analyst and Assistant will be play a key role in the Integrated Business Planning process, responsible for developing both standard and ad-hoc reports, analyzing data and providing themes and trends covering all aspects of the supply chain function that will enable the business to deliver our products to the customer most efficiently.

This role will also work as an expediter to make sure the Supply Chain is delivers to the plan, and will assist in communication on alterations to the plan.

In addition, this person will provide support to the Leadership team for building reports, presentations, coordinating, collating, distributing and facilitating business activities as required.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:


  • Track the execution and variations to the Plan to highlight need for mitigations within IBP team
  • Support the Leadership team with reports, analysis and other essential duties
  • Provide follow ups on actions needed to drive a successful IBP cycle
  • Enter Transfer Orders as specified by the IBP team
  • Drive updates to the supply and demand transactions to make sure they remain current
  • Prepare reporting for current tracking and execution of the plan
  • Coordinate customer demand and forecasts with sales to ensure we have the best information.
  • Update the ERP system with settings as updates are required and the business changes
  • Works directly with production, distribution and customer service to fulfill customer commitments.
  • Coordinate with sourcing/purchasing team to ensure raw materials are scheduled
  • Work with Operations and Assists the respective region through supply challenges

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • 35 years' experience in a Supply Chain and/or Operations role desired
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Detailed oriented, self starter, able to coordination, plan, organize and monitor activities
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment
  • Ability to work independently or within a team environment;
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, VBA), Word, PowerPoint, and the Internet.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of data analysis tools such as Jet, QlikView, Power BI
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ERP systems such as Business Central, SAP, JDE
  • Advanced knowledge of Powerpoint
  • Interface effectively with customers, the public, and coworkers
  • Gather information and utilize resources from varied sources
  • Make and implement decisions compatible with organizational goals

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:


  • Graduate degree in technical discipline or equivalent experience.
  • 45 years manufacturing or supply chain related experience preferred in a data oriented setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Excellent decision making ability.
  • Ability to work independently or within a team environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

PHYSICAL DEMENDS:


  • Sitting and using office equipment (computers, telephones, calculators, copiers) for prolonged periods of time.
  • Riding in vehicles or walking over changing terrain
  • Lifting requirements generally under 25 lbs.
