Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Workroom Manager in drapery/upholstery to join our team. As a Workroom Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and production processes in our facility. You will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient functioning of our workroom department.

Responsibilities:

Manage and supervise the daytoday operations.
Have at least 3 years of progressive experience in a drapery / roman shades / upholstery industry manufacturing industry.
Have effective communication skills.
Lead production of 10 staff.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize production efficiency, policies and procedures.
Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of projects.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication.
Train, mentor, and motivate staff to achieve departmental goals.
Demonstrate the ability to manage conflict.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
Identify areas of improvement and implement necessary changes.
Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement business strategies.

Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong problemsolving abilities with a proactive approach
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Indepth knowledge of production processes and industry standards
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Qualifications:

Operations Management, or a related field (preferred)
Proven experience in a managerial role within a manufacturing or industrial setting
Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing principles is highly desirable
