SUMMARY OF THE ROLE


Are you able to bring clarity to complex situations and meet customer expectations? In a Auxiliary Equipment Planner Field Lead role at Mammoet, you will need to establish the most effective way of coordinating all moving parts, and also be able to think on your feet if things change.


WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Arrange for the inspection, identification, loading and tracking for all Outgoing and Incoming Auxiliary Equipment
  • Responsible for maintaining tracking tags on all Auxiliary Equipment
  • Assist Auxiliary Planners with determining inventory locations
  • Assign 5M numbers to equipment missing tags after consultation with Auxiliary Equipment Planners & Manager
  • Receive completed equipment requests with appropriate project number from Operations / Sales staff
  • Unit numbers must be confirmed by Auxiliary Equipment Field Lead while assembling Auxiliary package
  • Enter equipment requests in a timely manner and ensure that S/Ns are compatible with descriptions
  • Overlap with Auxiliary Equipment Foreman during this process
  • Create shipping documents in a timely manner and forward to Operations / Sales for coordination with site and send to the Operations Planner for invoicing
  • Follow up on equipment rental periods/ project duration/ return of equipment and adjust when necessary
  • Enter returned equipment list in a timely manner and check against original shipping documents.
  • Equipment list created by Operations / Sales and checked by Auxiliary Equipment Planners while offloading
  • Immediately advise Operations / Sales of any missing or damaged items
  • Overlap with Auxiliary Equipment Planners during this process
  • Enter inventory lists in a timely manner and ensure that S/Ns are compatible with descriptions
  • Advise Auxiliary Equipment Manager of any discrepancies for correction
  • Create purchase requisitions for replacement or additional equipment to maintain stock levels
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as passed on by Auxiliary Equipment Management

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • 35 Years previous experience in a similar role, ideally in any/some of the following sectors: civil engineering, construction, renewables, oil and gas, offshore, ports and mining
  • High School Diploma
  • Professional level experience with OPS systems and MS Office suite. Basic level experience in HLT equipment and operations
  • English, fluent proficiency verbal and written
