Automation Analyst, Summer 2023 Co-op


What is the opportunity?
A position within Transformation and Enterprise Operations (TEO)

Automation team that delivers first class automation solutions to business partners providing:
governance, support, coaching, code reviews, process design consulting, and building of automation solutions.


What will you do?

  • Develop solutions to meet clients' growing needs for automation and enhancing process controls & governance.
  • Automate reporting processes by using the combination of tools of Blue Prism, VBA and SQL.
  • Confirm that projects adhere to development standards and guidelines.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Currently enrolled at a Canadian postsecondary institution with a focus in industrial engineering, computer science, mathematics, statistics, business commerce, business administration, finance, or accounting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and highly developed communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Creative and analytical thinker who is selfdriven and capable of working in a fast paced environment.
  • Advanced MS Office skills in Excel.
  • Experience in SQL and or VBA.

Nice-to-have

  • Process Expertise: Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, Green Belt or Black Belt Certification.
  • Automation Expertise in one or more of the following: Blue Prism, Pega Robotics, Work Fusion.
  • BI Tools including Tableau, Elastic, Power BI.
  • Strong MS

Office Skills:
Visio, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.

  • Prior experience in data integration of disparate data sources.
  • Knowledge of design, development, and implementation utilizing current analytics technologies and architecture, as well as data warehouse concepts and methodologies.
  • Relational database concepts and design experience.
