Responsibilities:
Data Analysis and Exploration:
- Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to understand the underlying structure of the data and identify potential relationships.
Predictive Modeling:
- Develop and implement machine learning models for predictive analysis and forecasting.
- Finetune models for accuracy and efficiency, considering factors such as feature selection and hyperparameter tuning.
Data Cleaning and Preprocessing:
- Clean and preprocess raw data to ensure its quality and suitability for analysis.
- Handle missing data, outliers, and anomalies through effective data cleaning techniques.
Statistical Analysis:
Data Visualization:
- Create visually compelling and informative data visualizations to communicate insights to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Utilize tools such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Tableau for effective data representation.
Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:
- Collaborate with other teams, including business analysts, engineers, and product managers, to understand business requirements and deliver datadriven solutions.
Model Deployment:
- Work on deploying models to production environments, ensuring seamless integration into existing systems.
Continuous Learning:
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in data science, machine learning, and related fields.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Ph.
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist, with a track record of successful project completion.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and modeling.
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data manipulation techniques.
- Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to communicate complex findings to diverse audiences.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) for text analysis.
- Previous work in industries such as finance, healthcare, or ecommerce.
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Salary:
$60,000.00-$80,004.09 per year
Expected hours: 40 per week
