Job Description Mission**In order to complete a wide range of projects in the energy sector, our structural team is looking for a Technician who is comfortable using AutoCAD software. As a structural drafting Technician, your mission will be to carry out structural projects by participating in the design and delivering plans that meet our high standards. You will be involved in various small, medium and large-scale regional and provincial projects. Working in collaboration with other team members, you will be able to continue your development in a context where accountability, autonomy and trust are strongly encouraged. You'll have the chance to work in hybrid mode (office and home) on projects affiliated with our office in Montreal.

Primary Responsibilities

Participate in the startup of new projects
Prepare structural project plans
Coordinate with other disciplines
Conduct field surveys and inspections as required
Use codes, standards, drawings and other specifications established by various customers
Help verify shop drawings
Participate in site followup
Prepare asbuilt drawings
Assist the technical team in carrying out projects
Perform all other related technical and project support tasks

Qualifications

College Diploma (DEC) in civil engineering, construction, or other relevant discipline
Five (5) years or more of relevant experience
Curious and interested in multidisciplinary projects
Good understanding of structures
Excellent command of AutoCAD
Proficient with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Fluency in spoken and written French
Security card (ASP Construction)
Valid Driver's License
