As the trusted technology partner, essential to the fulfillment of WCB's strategic objectives, the Business Technology Services (BTS) division works collaboratively and creatively with our partners, to provide secure, innovative technology and data solutions that position WCB Alberta as an industry leader in Worker's Compensation.

Your responsibilities:

Overall responsibility for the daytoday operations of the Business Technology Analysts, ensuring the team is achieving its goals and is maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Assist with setting and executing product strategybased business requirements, performance metrics, and customer engagement strategies.
Work with senior management to articulate broader, strategic issues, including planning future directions.
Partners with WCB management, WCB business units, other BTS units, Service Providers, and key stakeholders to align existing business needs/process improvements to the service delivery offered by the Business Technology Analysts.
Develops ongoing partnerships with sourcing, vendor management, and WCB key stakeholders to help lead digital transformation to increase organizational ROI, effectiveness and agility through the delivery of Software as a Service.
Partners with Asset Management and Compliancy to optimize Software as a Service licensing agreements with a focus towards lowering total cost of ownership.
Influential role during the definition, planning, and execution of Software as a Service solutions.
Overseeing all Information Technology (IT) practices, principles and standards are being executed through the development and execution of plans.
Monitor and evaluate technologies and best practices to design integrated, flexible, and reliable software solutions.
Strong leadership and management skills are required in the direction, coaching, evaluation, and mentorship of the Business Technology Analysts.

Your experience and skills:

Minimum of 10 years' experience within a complex IT environment as well as progressive business and managerial or leadership experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Post-Secondary degree or diploma in a discipline related to Information Systems such as Business (MIS) or Computing Science.
A recognized professional designation: IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Project Management Professional (PMP), Business Analysis (BA) or Information Systems Professional (ISP), etc. is an asset.
Ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment by initiating and implementing change is crucial.
Strategic, progressive, selfmotivated individual with a high level of initiative and strong business acumen is critical to your success.
Ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment and a demonstrated ability to motivate, plan, direct and evaluate people and activities are necessary.
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills are crucial.
Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service.
Broad understanding of cloud technologies.

Salary:
$101,844.00 to $127,272.00 per annum (Pay Grade 14)
