RESPITE SERVICES IS SEEKING RESPITE PROVIDERS
Vehicle access is required in order to provide respite care.
Respite Services is a recruitment/referral program that maintains a database of screened Respite Providers who are interested in supporting a child/adult with an intellectual and/or physical disability.
We are looking for people that have education/experience in the following fields:
SSW, Nursing, ECE, EA'S, DSW, Teachers, PSW
As determined by family and/or Respite Provider, you can do one of the following but not limited to:
- Providing relief on a regular or occasional basis: (after school care, evenings and weekends)
- Accompany a child or adult to community activities
- Option of providing overnight care in your home or the family's home
- Rate of pay is determined between the parent and respite provider based on supports required.
All potential applicants will need to complete a screening process including references and providing an up to date vulnerable sector police background check.
