Job Purpose:


The Event Operations Coordinator reports to the Product Marketing Manager, Experiential Offerings and is responsible to provide operations and logistics support to ensure the successful execution of all experiential events and initiatives while meeting or exceeding event objectives.


The Event Operations Coordinator will develop and implement operations and execution plans to meet the objectives of each event, and the overall goals of the Experiential Marketing team's strategic objectives.


The Event Operations Coordinator works collaboratively with both internal and external teams, building relationships to ensure that experiential products are successfully brought to market.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Assists the Product Marketing Manager, Experiential Offerings with the development and implementation of operational and tactical plans to meet the objectives of the Experiential Marketing Team.
  • Supports event management processes, ensuring all logistics, volunteer staffing, and event plan is executed with excellence, including working with event leads and providing resources and support and attending required events to support execution.
  • Provides administrative support for events by establishing and tracking budget and procurement processes while ensuring collaboration with vendors and a consistent experience regarding World Vision's brand, messaging, & products.
  • Supports the Product Marketing Manager with the design and creation of World Vision's experiential offerings, ensuring bestinclass engagement experience and delivery of KPI's and objectives.
  • Identifies, researches, and proposes new opportunities to test experiential offerings and event strategies to increase growth and the expansion of WVC experiential products.
  • Manages team inventory of promotional items, event materials and equipment; completes orders for inventory and supplies as needed.
  • Coordinates and executes packing and shipping plan for events as needed.
  • Manages efficient budget and event metrics tracking.

Qualifications:


  • Postsecondary education in Business Administration, Marketing, or Event Coordination.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Operations or Event Coordination.
  • Highly skilled at building interpersonal relationships.
  • Customerservice orientation, bringing bestinclass support to teams.
  • Selfstarter with demonstrated organizational, interpersonal, financial, problemsolving abilities.
  • Advanced collaboration and communication skills.
  • Highly detailoriented with accuracy in reporting and data entry.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment and with Agile principles and practices considered an asset.
  • Remote work, but must be able to attend the Mississauga office on a hybrid basis as needed.
