Description

Hollingsgate Recruitment is seeking a Finance Manager for a leading Professional Services firm in Markham ON.

This is a full-time, permanent, onsite position.

Salary:
$75,000-$85,000K/per year


Key Responsibilities:


Management

  • Lead and enhance the accounting and purchasing teams' performance through training and goal setting.
  • Ensure precise, timely accounting and bookkeeping, including all endofmonth and endofyear activities.
  • Direct purchasing operations ensuring efficiency and addressing vendor issues.

Finance

  • Prepare and present detailed financial reports, manage budgeting, forecasting, and advise on management decisions.
  • Establish robust accounting practices and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Support sales teams through financial management of client contracts.

Human Resources

  • Oversee payroll, benefits, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Manage onboarding and termination processes.

Additional Duties

  • Maintain vendor contracts and company insurance policies.
  • Oversee office mail distribution.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in fullcycle accounting, with a preference for certification or designation.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, ConnectWise, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong leadership, meticulous attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
