We're on the lookout for Seasonal Production Workers Join our team of skilled professionals
- Are you a pro with power tools? Can you handle lifting up to 35 lbs multiple times a shift? Are you ready to embrace shift work rotation (Days/Afternoons/Nights)?_
We are currently seeking Production Workers to operate equipment and prepare items for distribution across our day, afternoon, and night shifts.
Check out the available shifts below:
Day Shift: 5 people; 6:30 am to 3:00 pm
Afternoon Shift: 5 people; 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm
Night Shift: 6 people; 10:30 pm to 7:00 am
If you have the ability to read and comprehend measurements, along with prior experience in manufacturing or assembly, we'd like to hear from you
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare and assemble galvanized steel, stainless steel and aluminum subassemblies
- Use a wide variety of mechanical and welding machinery to assemble finished products
- Sheet metal forming and bending
- Perform custom hand assembly
- Conduct regular quality checks to test for nonconformance's
- Opportunity for advancement and growth within other departments (General Manufacturing, Shipping)
Qualifications:
- Required shift work rotation (day/afternoon/nights)
- Able to use handheld and power tools
- Able to read and understand measurements and tolerances in metric
- Fluent in both spoken and written English
- Manufacturing/assembly experience considered an asset
- Experience working with steel and aluminum considered an asset
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs numerous times throughout their scheduled shift
- Stand for up to 8 hours a day and have no concerns using upper body movements
- Do other tasks and duties as required
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Night shift
