We are looking for an exceptional
Summer Internship
Agricultural Technology Specialist to join our team in
Stony Plain, AB.


Put your passion for agriculture to work.

As a Summer Technology Specialist Intern, you will work from May to August 2023, together with the Agriterra Technology Team.

Training, hands on experience and mentoring will be provided throughout the summer.


What makes the role exciting and what does it involve?

  • Assisting with training to the sales team on how agricultural technology can add value to a customer's farming operation
  • Attending training events and clinics for customers and employees
  • Promoting, assisting and troubleshooting agricultural technology products
  • Guidance (GPS) and steering systems
  • Displays (including data transfers and merging files)
  • Application control systems
  • Software updates
  • In field calibrations
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients

What are we looking for?

  • Participation & enrollment in an Agricultural degree or diploma program, GIS (Global Information Systems), Information Technology with some farming experience, Techgronomy, Technology Integration, Agribusiness or Agriculture Equipment Technician/Heavy Duty AG Mechanic
  • Experience with agricultural equipment would be a bonus (including experience growing up or working on a farm), but not required
  • Someone who is a problem solver, finding solutions to complex repair or diagnostic challenges
  • Flexibility to work additional hours if required during peak seasons
