premiumline transport is looking for a Forklift Operator to join our team in Pointe-Claire, QC.

Position Summary:

The Forklift Operator will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, operating a forklift, and maintaining safe working conditions.


Requirements:


  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to pass a preemployment background check.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. at a time.
  • Must be able to read and write English.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to work overtime as required by the company.
  • Ability to pass a preemployment drug test.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities:


  • Operate forklift in a safe manner in all weather conditions and environments.
  • Load/unload freight onto/from trucks/bins using hand/power tools and/or equipment provided.
  • Assist with the placement of freight on sale lists, removal of freight from sale lists, and return of freight to trucks/bins using hand/power tools and/or equipment provided.
  • Ensure that proper paperwork is completed accurately on a daily basis.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of work areas and equipment daily.

Part-time hours: 40 per week


Salary:
$24.00-$25.00 per hour
