The Role


We are looking for a collaborative team player who is effective at building excellent relationships with various stakeholders to join our Risk and SOx Compliance group.

As a member of this team, you will provide risk management related expertise to various business units across the organization.


In this role, you will:


  • Facilitate risk assessment sessions using the appropriate risk assessment tools and methods
  • Review, enhance and implement tools and processes to improve the documentation of risks, controls and changes to project and business unit risk registers
  • Implement, monitor, and reinforce use of tools and processes to improve the visibility of controls validation and effectiveness
  • Provide training and coaching to risk owners and department leaders in the use of existing and updated tools and processes
  • Compare and report risks and controls across multiple risk registers

Required:


  • Bachelor's degree within a related field (engineering, information systems, finance/accounting)
  • Five (5) to eight (8) years of progressive experience in risk assessment and/or risk management and audit investigation, with at least two of those years performing risk management duties in heavy industrial setting
  • Familiarity with a number of risk assessment tools and techniques
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information effectively to stakeholders. Comfortable carrying out presentations/conducting training to teams with varying backgrounds and skillsets
  • Experience leading projects/teams and facilitating risk assessments/hazard analysis
  • High level of computer proficiency, specifically with Microsoft Excel and SharePoint

Recommended:


  • ISO 31000 or PMI risk management certification
  • Project management experience
  • Statistics and data analytics
  • Risk/audit investigation
