The Role

We are looking for a collaborative team player who is effective at building excellent relationships with various stakeholders to join our Risk and SOx Compliance group.

As a member of this team, you will provide risk management related expertise to various business units across the organization.

In this role, you will:

Facilitate risk assessment sessions using the appropriate risk assessment tools and methods
Review, enhance and implement tools and processes to improve the documentation of risks, controls and changes to project and business unit risk registers
Implement, monitor, and reinforce use of tools and processes to improve the visibility of controls validation and effectiveness
Provide training and coaching to risk owners and department leaders in the use of existing and updated tools and processes
Compare and report risks and controls across multiple risk registers

Required:

Bachelor's degree within a related field (engineering, information systems, finance/accounting)
Five (5) to eight (8) years of progressive experience in risk assessment and/or risk management and audit investigation, with at least two of those years performing risk management duties in heavy industrial setting
Familiarity with a number of risk assessment tools and techniques
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information effectively to stakeholders. Comfortable carrying out presentations/conducting training to teams with varying backgrounds and skillsets
Experience leading projects/teams and facilitating risk assessments/hazard analysis
High level of computer proficiency, specifically with Microsoft Excel and SharePoint

Recommended:

ISO 31000 or PMI risk management certification
Project management experience
Statistics and data analytics
Risk/audit investigation
