Warranty Supervisor

Victory Homes is seeking a Warranty Supervisor. The Supervisor helps by providing customer care during warranty period and beyond. The Supervisor will conduct all regularly scheduled customer orientations, as well as attend to the customer service requests. Working with Customer service and Construction teams as well as trade partners. The Supervisor is responsible and accountable for resolving assigned service requests.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Advise and educate homeowners during inspections, regarding all areas of home maintenance and care
  • Notifies trades of pending repairs that may result in back charges.
  • Maintains warranty technician schedules to ensure optimal use of time and ability.
  • Maintains work orders and keeping them up to date.
  • Followups on outstanding work orders on daily basis and followup with homeowners to ensure work is complete.
  • Preparing materials required to complete service work prior to visiting homeowner.
  • Reviewing service warranty lists with homeowners; explaining which item will be rectified immediately & why.
  • Once job has been completed issue signoff of work order to Customer Service Team.

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Postsecondary education in construction administration is preferred.
  • Experience in the residential home building industry or related field is considered an asset
  • Minimum 2 years construction/administration/customer service experience.
  • Knowledge in multiple trades functions such as carpentry, drywall, painting, etc. is a requirement, as is knowledge of various tools and equipment.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Detailoriented and strong ability to follow through to completion of after service work
  • Ability to prioritize work and managing multiple competing priorities
  • Must be a team player who is enthusiastic to assist when needed in other areas to ensure
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel
  • Flexible, with the willingness and ability to travel daily to assigned sites.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Pay:
$70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
