You are a dedicated, collaborative Quality Assurance team member who is looking for an opportunity to make an impact on a team that thrives on change, process, and product improvement, and moves quickly.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review batch records and labeling for all processes including formulation, dispense, freeze dry, QC and assembly.
  • Prepare Certificates of Compliance for each batch of product and perform final product release.
  • Oversee the document, records and training control systems.
  • Review customer documentation for quality related matters to determine Evik's capability to comply.
  • Develop, review, analyze, maintain and report metrics and data.
  • Perform internal audits.
  • Perform investigations in response to customer complaints or instances of nonconforming product.
  • Provide support to QC in reviewing chemical and material certificates as a part of incoming inspection.
  • Provide QA support for onload of new work.
  • Write, edit, and review Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Assist the Quality Director with administrative functions and processes.
  • Ensures quality and accuracy in daytoday activities.
  • Other duties as required and assigned which are deemed appropriate for a Quality Assurance Technician.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum requirements:

  • College diploma or University degree, ideally in the sciences, but an equivalent combination of relevant job experience and training will be considered.
  • Excellent English language communication skills both written and oral.
  • Strong time management, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • Experience analyzing technical data and preparing reports.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain up to date and accurate records
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness and ability to work with a diverse set of tasks and responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications (including Excel).

The following are considered to be assets:

  • Knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO9001, ISO13485 or cGMP.
  • Certification or training in Quality Assurance or auditing.
  • Experience with quality tools to solve problems.

  • Applicants should be available for an onsite interview. Evik does not reimburse travel costs.

  • This role is 100% onsite. Must be able to work at our Kanata site.
