Job Description:

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

Design of civil systems associated with municipal water and/or wastewater conveyance facilities.
Design of systems associated with lift stations, pump stations and other mechanical equipment associated with water and wastewater utilities.
Prepare documentation for design projects and reports
Manage conveyance infrastructure ACAD group including workload planning, mentorship and performance management Perform constructability reviews
Assist with preparation of construction cost estimates
Assist with preparation of project specifications and contract documents
Additional responsibilities will include assistance with proposal preparation; project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements

Technical Diploma + 8 years experience in civil engineering, design and inspection working with AutoCAD and Civil 3D

Preferred Qualifications:

10+ years of related experience with civil engineering, design and inspection
Proficient with MS Office Suite Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology (or equivalent)
Eligible for registration with ASTTBC preferred
Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary environment Excellent attention to detail
Excellent communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, contractors and clients
