The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Design of civil systems associated with municipal water and/or wastewater conveyance facilities.
- Design of systems associated with lift stations, pump stations and other mechanical equipment associated with water and wastewater utilities.
- Prepare documentation for design projects and reports
- Manage conveyance infrastructure ACAD group including workload planning, mentorship and performance management Perform constructability reviews
- Assist with preparation of construction cost estimates
- Assist with preparation of project specifications and contract documents
- Additional responsibilities will include assistance with proposal preparation; project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements
- Technical Diploma + 8 years experience in civil engineering, design and inspection working with AutoCAD and Civil 3D
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10+ years of related experience with civil engineering, design and inspection
- Proficient with MS Office Suite Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology (or equivalent)
- Eligible for registration with ASTTBC preferred
- Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary environment Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, contractors and clients
- Sponsorship for Canadian employment authorization is not available for this position.
