As a Customer Relations Specialist, you will manage client agreements with credit counsellors and trustees as well as negotiate monthly payment plans and record payments received.


Responsibilities:


  • Efficiently enter clients' agreements into the software, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Engage in negotiations with credit counsellors to establish feasible and mutually beneficial monthly payment plans.
  • Maintain professional and effective communication with credit counsellors, ensuring clear understanding of our clients' financial needs.
  • Receive checks from credit counsellors and trustees, promptly enter payment details into the clients' profiles, and ensure accuracy in recording transactions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to client inquiries, addressing concerns, and offering appropriate solutions.
  • Collaborate with other team members to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to lending, credit counselling, and debt management.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to personal growth and actively seek opportunities to expand knowledge and skills within the lending industry.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably within the financial or lending industry.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively interact with credit counsellors, trustees, and clients.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry to maintain precise client records.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  • Exceptional problemsolving skills and the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Selfmotivated and resultsoriented individual who thrives in a teambased environment.
  • High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality
