Position Summary:


The Financial Analyst is responsible for assisting in all aspects of the financial operations of the facility by providing financial and statistical analysis and strategic solving to both clinical and non-clinical teams through the organization.

Tasks include but are not limited to creation of journal entries, monitor internal controls, reconcile and uphold working papers and support for ledger accounts.

They will assist with interface maintenance between various systems and supporting various internal departments with accounting practices.

They will be an instrumental part of the monthly and yearly close, as well as provide support to the Controllership and Financial Planning & Analysis Teams as needed.


Position Responsibilities:


Core Work

  • Process and enter general ledger entries
  • Assisting with the monthly financial statement preparation and annual audit process
  • Preparing and analyzing periodic reports, including performance indicators, monthly financial statements, analysis of balance sheet accounts, account reconciliations
  • Assisting with MIS, HAPS, CAPS, MSAA, SRI submissions
  • Responsibility for assigned programs and tasks, which may include invoicing, physician payment reconciliation and processing, program budget spending and reconciliation
  • Providing integrated financial support of evidencebased decision making for decision makers, Senior Financial Analyst and others
  • Ensuring data integrity and compliance with a variety of complex projects
  • Provide support for the payroll department, reporting, and reconciliations
  • Assisting with budget preparing and other reporting as required
  • Provide support for management and maintenance of capital assets

Data Processing and Review

  • Preparing and analyzing reports as well as general ledger reconciliations
  • Assist with system integration, maintenance of interfaces between multiple systems
  • Develop analytics, systems and data management capabilities, including metrics and reports.
  • Participate in the development of the department's strategy for the organization.
  • Adhere to transaction management best practices.
  • Monitor and analyze current trends in the marketplace.
  • Participate in financial improvement plans and change management plans.
  • Establish key performance indicators, monitor ongoing performance, and improve performanc
