Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated full time Laboratory Assistant to join our team.

As a Laboratory Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the laboratory operations and ensuring accurate data collection and analysis.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining experience in a food and cosmetic supply chain laboratory setting.


Duties:


  • Assist with various laboratory tasks, including sample preparation, testing, and analysis
  • Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure accurate and reliable results
  • Perform quality control checks to maintain the integrity of data
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies
  • Record and organize data in accordance with laboratory guidelines
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications:

  • College diploma or above in a science or biology field preferred
  • Previous experience working in a biology research laboratory setting is a plus
  • Strong math skills for data calculations and analysis
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Suite
  • Knowledge of quality control procedures is desirable

$19.50-$24.50 per hour
