Work from home available after 3 months.

Responsibilities:

Prepare proposal documents including scope of work and pricing for projects ranging from $100,000 to $12,500,000
Review documents, drawings, specifications, addenda, and quotations and produce takeoffs and BOMs
Review changes in scopes of work and prepare change orders as needed
Request quotations from relevant subcontractors and suppliers
Manage project spending to ensure a healthy financial performance and provide reporting to supervisors throughout the project
Work in conjunction with the accounts receivable department to coordinate invoices and progress payments
Provide technical support to field staff when appropriate
Communicate with various stakeholders including clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and colleagues on a regular basis
Identify potential business opportunities

Qualifications:

Previous experience with Accubid and Bluebeam is required
Post Secondary Education OR Trade Certification OR equivalent work experience in the electrical field
An understanding and knowledge of electrical materials and construction
Strong understanding of the BC's Electrical Safety Code
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage competing demands and priorities
Exceptional interpersonal skills, especially when it comes to working with customers and fellow coworkers
Willingness to learn new skills and abilities
Our office is highly computerized so computer skills are a must
Experience with
AccuBid,
Bluebeam, Google Suite, Microsoft Office
Highly detailoriented, organized, and ethical
Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
Ability to read and understand construction drawings would be an asset
Professional designation would be an asset (C.E.T, CTech, Eeng)
