The Position
CC&L Private Capital Ltd.

is seeking a Private Client Asset-Mix Intern to join our
Asset Mix Team for a 4-month term (May - Aug, 2024), with a potential to extend to 6-Months.

What do we offer Private Client Asset Mix Interns?

You will be collaborating with three team members overseeing strategic asset mix, tactical and communicating team insights to Wealth Advisors.

You will have the ability to experience first-hand the research that goes into our allocation decisions and how we communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.

As a Private Client Asset-Mix Intern you will:

Support the asset allocation team in our Private Wealth affiliate creating charts and conducting research related to strategic and tactical asset allocation
Work directly with three Principals on asset allocation and supporting the effort to keep Wealth Advisors well informed on the investment function of the business

Qualifications and Experience

The
Private Client Asset-Mix Intern position is geared toward students either in their third/fourth year of an undergraduate degree or MBA with a Commerce, Finance and/or Economics.

We are seeking ambitious students with a strong academic track record, who are interested in making an impact.

At least one previous coop/intern experience in a related field
Demonstrated ability to prioritize, handle multitasking, and work well under time constraints
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Excellent knowledge MS Suite including proven experience in Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with Bloomberg and/or Refinitiv Eikon is considered an asset
Experience coding to increase efficiency considered an asset

_The salary range for this position is $43,000-49,000 CAD annualized. The salary range provided reflects the base salary range for this position as required by legislation. Further questions may be directed to the HR team during the interview process._
