The
Financial Analyst will play a crucial role within our finance team, overseeing general accounting responsibilities for the company.

Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, this position will be an essential part of a collaborative team engaged in managing the entire accounting cycle.

With a focus on North American operations, the role holds significant importance in offering financial support to senior management.

What will you be doing?

Collaborating to ensure the timely completion of monthend financial closings.
Assisting in the preparation, interpretation, and presentation of monthly Profit and Loss (P&L) results.
Delving into discrepancies and elucidating variances from budget and forecast.
Taking ownership of the preparation, maintenance, and support of balance sheet accounts along with related working papers.
Formulating journal entries with comprehensive supporting documentation for managerial review and approval.
Contributing to the development of management reporting templates tailored for analysis purposes.
Conducting qualitative and quantitative data analysis when needed.
Providing assistance for special projects and conducting adhoc analysis, as required.
Supporting the Corporate Controller in various projects.

What experience do you have?

Postsecondary business degree and/or working towards a CPA accounting designation with 25 years of FP&A and/or accounting.
Proficiency in accounting concepts.
Highly data proficient with advanced Excel skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Highly efficient, with strong attention to detail.
Ability to stay focused on tasks, particularly while battling with deadlines.
Ability to analyze financial data and interpret into both oral and narrative form.
Good analytical, financial and systems skills are required.
Familiarity with Sage 300 is a plus.
Impeccable integrity and trustworthiness.
Ability to effectively communicate and interact at all levels of the organization.
