This posting is open to internal and external applicants. First preference will be given to qualified L.K.D.S.B. permanent Secondary teachers.

The following Permanent vacancy is available:
L.C.C.V.I Sr. Tech - Manufacturing/Sr. Tech - Transportation

Qualifications/Experience:
- experience in stated assignment is preferred;

Special Education qualifications are required for ABLE/Resource/Intensive Services positions;
Special Education qualifications are preferred for positions at A.M.S.S.;
French qualifications and fluency in French Immersion is required for French Immersion positions;
Guidance Part 1 is required for Guidance positions;
Co-Op Part 1 is required for Co-Op positions;
Special Education Part 1 is required for Student Success positions;
Special Education Part 1 is required for ALLP positions;

- experience with committee work including Literacy, MDT team, and safe schools is an asset for Student Success positions;
- knowledge of current curriculum directions;
- excellent communication skills in order to effectively interact with students, parents and staff;
- positive interaction as part of the school team;
- consistent and fair classroom management;
- working with youth in a variety of settings;
- working with indigenous young people is an asset;
- electronic report card experience is an asset;
- computer skills are an asset.
