  • Reporting to the Vendor Manager, the Vendor Analyst III will be involved in providing oversight and reporting of the Contractor Connection initiative. Also accountable for completing quality review and approval of vendor estimates confirming scope, estimate accuracy and timeliness of repairs enabling the delivery of Legendary Customer Experience. The role also involves the daily monitoring, tracking and response for the Res Vendorfeedback Mailbox, that is a conduit for Residential Vendor Escalations and feedback. The information gathered in this role is provided to the Regional Vendor Manager team to identify areas of opportunity within our contractor network and drive improved LEI and reduced leakage.
  • Additional Responsiblities include but are not limited to:
  • Conduct audits of Contractor Connection estimate reviews; involves tracking and communication of results to Contractor Connection
  • Evaluation and QA approval of Xactanalysis estimates uploaded at any time during the course of the claim
  • Ensure the scope of damages are aligned to TDI's PPN Manual and Guidelines as well as best practice standards and IICRC requirements
  • Utilize tracker to record savings found in the estimates
  • Coaching of general contractor vendors regarding our estimating standards and PPN manual
  • As required liaise with the general contractor and file handling analyst as required in the evaluation of the estimate

Job Requirements

  • Formal training/experience with scoping & estimating
  • Xactimate/Xactanalysis Training
  • Insurance experience/background an asset
  • 35 years of residential structural estimating & software knowledge
  • Proficient in the usage of Xactimate and Xactanalysis
  • IICRC certification for Fire, Smoke, Water and Damage Remediation
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with internal and external stakeholders
  • Results oriented and possess excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Maintain positive morale, demonstrate team spirit and embrace change
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, OutLook and OneNote
  • CIP as asset
  • Bilingual (verbal and written) is an asset (English / French)
