We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual to join our team as a Reliability Engineer (12 months project) in North York, is an on-site position.
    Responsibilities:
  • Apply Reliability principles for reduceddown-time and failure elimination.
  • Support Lead Investigators and ProductionCompliance with Investigations(Deviations, CAPAs, Training)
  • Work with Project Engineering to ensurereliability and maintenance of new & modified installations.
  • Review adherence to life cycle assetmanagement principles, providing input on new equipment selection, definingspare parts requirements, communicating expectations, participating in finalcheck-out of new installations.
  • Define Reliability related trainingrequirements and supporting development of Engineering/Maintenance Standards.
  • Deploy systems (risk mitigation &predictive) for effective strategies on new and existing equipment,
  • Develop, implement, and manage PredictiveMaintenance programs to incorporate cost effective predictive and othernon-destructive technologies to improve equipment reliability and performance.
  • Manage obsolescence through, risk analysisreports for production and identification of functional equivalency parts.
  • Support Building Shutdowns, throughproactive review of production task lists, associated parts (MMs) of the taskand correct them as required for smooth execution.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatoryrequirements and maintain good documentation practices to track all workhistory and improve data analysis.
  • Educate/train the department on the valueof building accurate equipment histories for trending purposes &reliability improvement
  • Qualifications :
  • Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation,Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of previous relevant experiencein manufacturing, maintenance, and engineering environments; including two (2)or more working with maintenance personnel (both internal and contracted) in aReliability Engineering role in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong understanding of all trades,current Maintenance best practices, Reliability tools and processes, GMP/GLP,and common issues addressed by Maintenance
  • In-depth understanding in Industry Lean / Six Sigma / TPM methodology.
  • Demonstrated ability to pro-actively, andcooperatively work with cross functional teams.
  • Professional Engineer of Ontario (P. Eng)is an asset.
  • Certified Maintenance and ReliabilityProfessional (CMRP) certification is an asset.
