The Position:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role is key to the performance of daily manufacturing, sales and logistics departments.
It requires an individual who is organized, with very good computer skills, excellent communication skills, who has an excellent accuracy rate.
Being detail oriented is mandatory and having a high sense of urgency will assist in your success in this position.
Our company is a service-oriented company that supplies custom packaging to our clients in Canada and the U.S. Working closely with clients and team members is key to ensuring a lasting relationship with our valued customers.Duties:
- Input daily production into inventory location system and verify
- Work with Customer Service, Production and Customers to fulfill requirements to customer facilities and monitor inventory levels
- Supply customer finished goods reporting to sales, customer service, management and clients
- Aware of daily deliveries of finished goods to customers
- Work with sales, production, customer service, purchasing, shipping and management to ensure smooth operation of daily requirements
- Review daily schedules and production to ensure that materials are available for use in production to meet timelines planned customer requirements
- Tracking and updating systems with finished goods warehouse transfer information
- Assist in tracking raw materials and transferring from warehouses to manufacturing in time to meet planned daily schedules
- Work with purchasing to monitor incoming material deliveries to advise scheduling
- Involved with tracking transfer of finished goods inventory and raw materials to offsite warehouses
- Monitor corrugate usage/inventory and complete purchase requisition to replenish stock
- Work with internal production to advise inventory trends and monitor levels
- Assist with regular physical inventories
- Abide by First In First Out for inventory usage
- Back up to Customer Service and Shipping Administration to cover vacations
- Booking inbound/outbound delivery appointments with clients as required
- Filing of all relevant documentation
- Arrange ordering and pick up of additional supplies as needed
- All other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- University or College degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience with folding cartons, boxboard and corrugate will be extremely beneficial
- Familiarity with Globetek, ERP systems, and Microsoft suite including Access will be helpful
- Good organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Pay:
$50,000.00-$59,000.00 per year
