Position Overview:

As a Cake and Cookie Decorator, you will be responsible for adding the finishing touches to cakes and cookies, transforming them into visually stunning and delicious treats.

Key Responsibilities:

Decorating Cakes and Cookies:

Utilize various decorating techniques such as piping, fondant sculpting, airbrushing, and icing to adorn cakes and cookies according to established designs or custom requests.

Design Development:

Collaborate with the bakery team and customers to conceptualize and develop unique designs for cakes and cookies based on occasions, themes, or preferences.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure the quality and consistency of decorations by adhering to standard operating procedures and maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.

Ingredient Preparation:
Prepare and handle frosting, fondant, edible paints, and other decorative materials, ensuring freshness and proper storage.

Equipment Maintenance:
Clean and maintain decorating tools, equipment, and work areas to uphold hygiene and safety standards.

Customer Interaction:
Provide friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers, discussing decoration options, taking orders, and addressing inquiries or special requests.

Time Management:

Manage workload efficiently to meet deadlines for both routine orders and special projects, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and complexity.

Creative Innovation:

Qualifications:

Experience:
Previous experience in cake decorating or a related field is preferred, with demonstrated proficiency in various decorating techniques.
