OVERVIEW:

Reporting to the Support Worker Program Manager, the Cleaner will be responsible for ensuring Visiting Homes are kept clean and in good condition for hosting family visits.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES:

Contact Visiting Home Coordinator to order supplies.
Clean all floors within the house.
Clean Living Room (Floors, Couches & Chairs, TV, Walls, Dust Surfaces).
Clean Bathroom (Toilet, sinks, tub, mirror, counters).
Clean Kitchen (Fridge, Sink, Counters, Floor).
Clean Bedroom (Windows, bedding, wash bed protectors, floor).
Take out trash as required.
Wash Linens (bedding & towels).
Clean fridge, stove, cupboards, washer, dryer bimonthly.
Restock supplies such as soap, toilet paper etc.
Notify SWP Manager if there are any repairs needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of household cleaning products and safe handling.
Training and experience in cleaning practices.
Physical ability to move small furniture for cleaning.
Ability to work independently.
Must have a current satisfactory Child Abuse Registry Check, Adult Abuse Registry Check, Criminal Record check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), and Prior Contact Check as conditions of employment. (This does not necessarily mean you will not be eligible to work for SAI).
Successful applicant(s) will also be required to provide proof of COVID19 vaccination prior to start date.
