About the role:

Do you have a passion for telling stories that educate, engage, and persuade? Do you have a natural interest in technology and Fintech? Do you enjoy staying up to date on the latest digital trends and thinking?

What will you do?

Logistics and administrative support for large internal events including town halls
Coordinate and collaborate with colleagues on events, translation, and publishing
Write, edit, and create graphics to support engaging communications
Conduct research for briefing documents and communication plans
Track metrics and look for trends in data
Help coordinate publishing of internal messages (manage approvals, translation, scheduling, and tracking)
Coordinate and collaborate with Communications colleagues and partners across the organization

What do you need to succeed?

Degree or diploma in communications, public relations, journalism, or related field
A positive, cando/willlearn attitude
Strong writing skills (corporate writing or journalism preferred)
High functional knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
Beginners level knowledge of Adobe Creative
Experience creating visual and engaging content
Strong organizational skills with knowledge of project management
Passion for research, problem solving, and analyzing data
Demonstrated experience developing new ideas and recommending creative solutions
Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment
General knowledge of media relations and social media best practices and procedures
Prior exposure to various communication channels, understanding the pros and cons of each
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a diversified team environment
Strong time management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and produce materials to meet tight deadlines

Preferred Skills:

years experience in communications, public relations or marketing is strongly preferred

Previous experience in communications in a Coop or Coordinator role
Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Premiere Pro
Experience in content creation
Experience within the financial services industry an asset
Bilingualism (English/French) an asset
