We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our company as a Solar Sales Team Leader.In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and leading a sales team focused on promoting and selling solar products and services.
As the team leader, you will play a crucial role in developing strategies, driving sales, and achieving revenue targets. This is a commission-based position, offering unlimited earning potential for successful sales performance.Responsibilities:
- Establish and lead a high-performing solar sales team, recruiting and training team members to ensure a knowledgeable and motivated sales force.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans and initiatives to expand market share, maximize revenue, and achieve sales targets.
- Collaborate with the marketing department to create effective lead generation campaigns and sales materials that support the team's sales efforts.
- Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and guidance to the sales team, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, set sales targets, and track individual and team progress, providing constructive feedback and implementing necessary improvements.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, solar technology advancements, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and position the team for success.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, such as homeowners, businesses, contractors, and industry partners, to drive sales and generate referrals.
- Manage the sales process from lead qualification to deal closure, ensuring efficient and timely execution at each stage.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasting future sales trends, and providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Maintain a deep understanding of solar products, services, pricing, and financing options to effectively communicate value propositions and address customer inquiries.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in solar sales or a similar role, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership abilities, with experience in managing and motivating sales teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and negotiate effectively.
- Demonstrate the ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies and initiatives.
- Indepth knowledge of the solar industry, including solar energy systems, installation processes and financing options.
- Results oriented mindset with a drive to achieve and exceed goals.
- Highly organized with exceptional time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales tools to track leads, manage pipelines, and generate reports.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and business needs.
- Bachelor's degree in business marketing, or a related field is preferred, but not required.

Salary:
$13.00-$20.00 per hour
