    Secondary Counsellor (1.0 FTE) Continuing Full-Time with Benefits

    2024 VSB Teacher Salary Grid
    (Salary range $59,394 to $106,217)

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor of Education
    • Master's Degree in Counselling Psychology or School Counselling, including a supervised clinical practicum/internship (Minimum 400 hours)
    • Teaching experience at elementary or secondary levels is an asset
    • Skills in counselling children and consulting with school staff & parents
    • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
    • Knowledge of programs & services for families within the district and community

      • Recent Graduates: Faculty Advisor, School Advisor(s), Practicum or Clinic Supervisor(s), plus one of: Principal, Vice Principal, or previous employer
      • Experienced Teachers: Current Principal, Vice Principal, and previous Administrator(s)
