Job Description Summary:

This role acts as the end-to-end marketing leader for North America Grid Automation, a division of GE Vernova driving digitalization / Electrification of grid systems and new grids of the future.


Essential Responsibilities:


This role acts as the end-to-end marketing leader for North America Grid Automation, a division of GE Vernova driving digitalization / Electrification of grid systems and new grids of the future.


Strategic Marketing:

  • Understand the North America market for the Grid Automation portfolio
  • Keep up to date with relevant market trends (digital substations, asset performance management, device management, monitoring and diagnostics, etc) and competitive analyses
  • Give input on division's longterm strategic planning process using knowledge of market : e.g estimated market shares, growth trends and CAGR, etc. Collaborate with global Product Line & Marketing team to ensure aligned understanding of the North American market.
  • Define and own the SWOT analysis of Grid Automation in NAM

Operational Marketing:

  • Define the optimal positioning for growth in North America, (e.g. price positioning, target audience, differentiation, etc) in collaboration with global Product Line and NAM's solution architects
  • Create playbooks and other sales enablement material to help commercial team and channel partners execute growth plans (e.g defining what solutions to target in what parts of the market, what talking points, which use cases to highlight, etc)
  • Manage database of collateral, and oversee all external facing material (e.g white papers, event presentations, etc) to ensure it's directionally aligned to market strategy
  • Define and run market outreach campaigns as needed for strategic growth areas
  • Manage our market presence at NAM industry events, trade shows, etc, in conjunction with the global marketing team.
  • Work with commercial team (inside sales, sales, channel partners) to ensure outputs / leads from marketing campaigns, tradeshows, etc are handed off appropriately

Qualifications / Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in marketing, strategy, or business development within a B2B model focused on solutions, software, and/or services portfolio
  • Ability to travel 10%

Desired Characteristics:
