Veterinary Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for an organized, motivated, and empathetic individual to join us in a very important support role for the entire hospital. In this role, you will help our clients and their pets feel welcomed and appreciated

As a
Patient Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining the communication lines between the doctor and the client.

You are the direct liaison between the Treatment/ICU veterinarians, treatment staff and the clients while their pet is in our care.

• Attending patient rounds
• Providing daily financial and medical updates on all hospitalized patients
• Updating invoicing daily based on Smart Flow treatment sheets
• Preparing medications
• Medical records maintenance
• Preparing and presenting discharge instructions, medications and client education
• Coordinating referrals or transfers with other hospitals
• Following up on discharged patients
• Discussing financing, requesting deposits, updating estimate plans and taking payments

- relaying lab results


Schedule:
This position does involve evenings, weekends and statutory holidays.
