Executive Assistant
Nortrux Inc. has an opening for an Executive Assistant at our Edmonton location.
The company has been in business since 1987 and was the first heavy truck dealership to be certified by the ISO Quality System in Canada in 1997.
We have three full-service Mack Truck Dealerships engaged in New and Used HeavyTruck Sales, rentals and leasing, as well as Parts and Service support, with locations in Edmonton, Red
Deer and Grande Prairie, Alberta. We also provide heavy duty truck body repair service.

***DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Keeping the President's calendar up to date, including adding events, rescheduling appointments, and providing daily briefings.
Conducting research and creating reports on various topics
Planning and organizing events that take place externally, e.g. customer appreciation events.
Maintaining a high degree of discretion and confidentiality
Provide occasional administrative support to other leaders and departments in the organization
Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks that facilitate the President's effectiveness, including making travel arrangements and tracking/submission of expense reimbursements
Work closely with the Executive Committee to keep members well-informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities and follow up as necessary.
Anticipate the President's needs in advance of commitmentsWork with the Executive Committee to develop a marketing budget
Work closely with vendors to bring in marketing materials, promotional items and other brand
- enhancing items
Oversee all marketing platforms (digital, print and social media) and report on progress
Work with marketing companies and visual identity companies to gain more brand recognition
Work with Branch Managers to facilitate building repairs or maintenance in all locations.
Other job duties as required, based upon direction from the President
QUALIFICATIONS
Post-secondary completion of a two-year program for administrative assistant, office assistant, business management or other professional degree and/or program is required
Work experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, or similar role
Excellent MS Office knowledge
Exceptional attention to detail
Ability to conduct research and create reports and presentations
Ability to learn quickly
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Outstanding organizational and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communications skills, highly proficient in interpersonal skills
Successful applicants must pass a pre-employment medical test

$45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
