Join our vibrant team as a City Pizza Team Member, where your energy and enthusiasm will help create a welcoming environment for our guests In this dynamic role, you'll be the friendly face behind the counter, preparing delicious food, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring every guest has a memorable experience. Your multitasking skills and passion for food will shine as you handle food preparation, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness standards in a fast-paced, quick service restaurant setting.

Duties

• Prepare and assemble menu items with precision, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
• Provide outstanding customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food handling zones in accordance with food safety regulations.
• Assist with bussing tables, restocking supplies, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods.
• Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and team members.

Experience

• Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in sales or upselling techniques to promote menu items effectively.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, grocery store familiarity or retail math experience are advantageous.
• Prior restaurant or quick service & fast food restaurant experience is beneficial but not mandatory; attitude and willingness to learn are key
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures will help you succeed.
