Job Summary

As a key team member reporting to the Director of Employee Experience & HR, the role of Training and Development Specialist is crucial in elevating the skills and knowledge of both internal staff and external clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, delivery, and evaluation of comprehensive training programs. This position involves conducting internal training sessions for employees, external training for customers, and creating engaging training content with a focus on virtual training capabilities.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of engaging learning experiences aligned with organizational goals and customer needs.
• Create customized training content for both internal and external stakeholders, including virtual training sessions.
• Utilize virtual training platforms to provide interactive online learning experiences.
• Update and develop training materials for various audiences.
• Conduct training sessions for employees and external customers.
• Collaborate with department heads to address training needs.
• Research and propose enhancements for eLearning courses.
• Assess skill gaps and training requirements through needs assessments.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and gather feedback for improvements.
• Maintain the Learning Management System for accurate training records.
• Act as a backup to the Training Facilitator and perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in instructional technology, eLearning, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of training and development experience.
• Proficiency in tools such as Lectora, Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, and/or Camtasia.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems and educational video creation.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt training approaches to diverse learning styles.
• Resourceful, energetic, and proactive with strong attention to detail.
• Experience in project management and issue resolution related to e-learning technologies.
