Ontario Line South

Ferrovial Construction Canada Inc.

and VINCI Construction Grands Projects are to design, build and finance the Ontario Line Southern Civil, Stations and Tunnel (South Civil) package.


Working together as Ontario Transit Group we are currently mobilizing our design and construction crews, with major works to commence in 2023.

The South Civil contract is anticipated to be completed in 2030.

The project will strengthen Ontario's economy by supporting an estimated 1,500 jobs at the peak of construction.

What is the project?

  • A sixkilometer tunnel and associated tunnelling works from Exhibition to Don Yard portal (west of the Don River)
  • Stations:
  • One aboveground station to be integrated with the existing GO Transit Exhibition Station
  • Two underground stations to be integrated with the existing TTC Osgoode and Queen subway stations
  • Four new underground stations (King/Bathurst, Queen/Spadina, Moss Park, Corktown)

Information Management Specialist - Are you the perfect fit?


The Information Management Specialist, reporting directly to the Information Manager, will need to identify, clarify and simplify the processes within several departments of the project: design, quality (QA), environmental (E), health & safety (H&S), human resources (HR) and propose data models that would optimize best in class process execution.

Processes will need to be digitalized in the appropriate platforms, with the end goal of simplifying and reducing work loads through the use of digital tools and technology.

By proposing those data models, the Information Management Specialist will bring to life information from different sources (site, data capture devices, forms, EDMS platforms, DDBB file) which will provide project insights to the project teams.

Dalux Box and Dalux Field are the official EDMS and Operational and Construction Management platforms across the project.

The Information Management Specialist would need to understand the project processes and Dalux features to implement and digitalize those processes maximizing the Dalux features and capabilities.


What you will undertake:

  • Analyze and documents through the use of flowcharts the different processes linked to design and construction projects.
  • Define information standards and data models applicable to design and construction projects.
  • Creation of templates for design and construction tools, for input and output data schemas, to link information
  • Development of user cases and POCs for validating the schemas.
  • Development of logic schemas linked to existing standards and data ontologies, specially linked to 3D (BIM) and 2D (GIS) geometrical databases.
  • Standardizing initiatives approach, with strategic and analytic vision to understand project needs and providing value from the data that they or other departments generate.
  • Developing training content, both basic and more advanced levels for users.
  • Establish and prepare clear and concise documentation for the different standardized processes.
What do we ask for?

  • Civil or Industrial engineering bachelor
  • At least 3 years of experience in design and construction of big projects
  • High experience with some flowchart, diagram and process visualization (MS Visio, Edraw, Miro )
  • High experience with Microsoft Office (Office 365, SharePoint, Power Platform )
  • Experience in EDMS systems administration such as SharePoint, Dalux, Autodesk ACC or similar
  • Experience in Power BI, PowerQuery, DAX and SQL methods
  • Experience in analysing BIM and GIS requirements of design and construction projects
