Within our Customs Compliance Operations department, you are responsible for ensuring compliance with export and import requirements and ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations

Specifically, your role involves:

Periodically verifying our customs compliance to minimize the risk of penalties from government institutions.
Responding to internal and external customer inquiries related to customs compliance, as well as assisting transportation and customs operations with daily support.
Verifying customs entries to ensure the accuracy and correctness of customs declarations, including classifying and maintaining a tariff classification database for validation of current classifications and adding new ones.
Participating in and initiating improvements to current processes.
Involvement in special company development projects.
Keeping stakeholders informed about industry updates.
Performing any other related tasks as required for this position.
Technical Skills:
Excellent knowledge of international trade regulations.
Excellent knowledge of Canadian and American customs procedures.
Proficiency in computer tools, especially the Office suite.
Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
Possession of a CCS title is an asset.
Non-Technical Skills:
Ability to work in a team.

Ability to manage priorities effectively.
Sense of responsibility and organization.
Autonomy.
Methodical and orderly.
Educational Requirements:
DEC in Logistics Transportation or any other relevant discipline.
Linguistic Requirement: Proficiency in both French and intermediateadvanced English.
