    Overview:
    The successful candidate will complement Company's contingent of staff and contract Project Managers in IT Programs & Projects Delivery (PMO). The contract PM's primary assignment is to leadCybersecurity project(s), which is aimed at increasing IT cyber security across the enterprise.The Company is transforming to support further innovation and growth. It is concerned about the speed and frequency of cyberattacks, and the effects those attacks have on the organization and itsoperational capabilities.As part of digital transformation, The Companywants to modernize its approach to cybersecurity and transform securely. External partners worked with The Company to understand its business and support the development of a cybersecurity strategy to better protect its business, review and update the cybersecurityarchitecture to provide the security direction needed for its information systems and update the cybersecurity design for transformation. Now that these areas have been updated, they are specific targets for the transformation needed for the Company.
    Solid experience with project management of large and complex project along with IT infrastructure and security-related projects is essential, as is the ability to manage a large team, provide strategic direction, prepare solid business cases, and project planning documentation based on information provided by business and technology stakeholders. business and technology stakeholders.The contract PM may also be assigned to other full life-cycle projects as required by the Business Technology Services (BTS) Project Management Office. Project assignment will also depend on the contract PM's suitability and qualifications.Note that these projects may be Feasibility Studies (planning projects leading to implementation) or Implementation projects where a product or service is delivered.

    What you will be doing:
    The successful candidate is expected to closely adhere to The Company BTS's Project Management methodology (templates, gates, phases, and stages). Duties will include all aspects of the Project Management Lifecycle, including project initiation and planning, executing, monitoring and control, and closing – scope, time, and cost management; procurement management; quality management; risk identification, mitigation, and management; resource management; stakeholder and communications management; issue management.Reporting functionally to the Program Manager and administratively to a Senior Manager in the BTS Project Management Office, the candidate will work closely with senior staff, as well as functional and technical teams consisting of staff and contractors. The successful candidate will perform all project management functions, including but not limited to the following:

    Develop or oversee the creation of Business Cases and supporting artifacts (related documents and appendices) ensuring alignment with Program Strategic goals

    Review and approve all project planning documents created by the project managers utilizing BTS' comprehensive project management methodology and supporting templates

    Oversee the execution of all aspects of the plan, including WBS, financials, procurements, communications, quality, risks, decisions, etc.

    Direct the activities of internal and external (contracted) resources, including Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Project Coordinators and other roles as required by the program including BTS resources assigned to and funded by the Program (Security Admin, Data Analysts, Developers, Quality Assurance Analysts etc.)

    Work closely with their Project Manager counterparts from vendors and system integrators contracted to deliver platforms and professional services, including overseeing and ensuring delivery of project deliverables.

    Support the team culture, promoting a collaborative and healthy team environment.

    Develop and manage or support and provide input for existing program and project governance structure (including Project Steering and Technical Advisory Committees) to drive consensus on project issues and achieve desired outcomes.

    Prepare and communicate, or provide input to, detailed monthly and ad hoc reports to stakeholders, including status reports and updates to the Program Steering Committee.

    Scope Management: utilizing the program and project governance structure (Project Steering Committee, identified stakeholders) to establish and maintain clear project boundaries and agreement on project scope.

    Schedule Management: monitoring projects' schedule, ensuring adherence to key milestones, and corrective action plans when applicable.

    Risk Management: Ensure the proper record and tracking of project and program-level risks and issues and action plans, including the communication aspects.

    Team leadership: managing a diverse team of technical experts and senior leaders in the organization. Interpersonal and communication skills, as well as business acumen, will be critical.

    Budget and Contract Management: managing the project budget, including sub contractor and supplier performance.

    Technical management: overseeing the work of a technical team (design, building, testing, deployment, change management) throughout the project life cycle.

    Strong adherence to The Company's BTS Project Management Methodology (Atlas), including the creation of various project documents and other artifacts, as well as those created by project team members.

    What you must have:

    Minimum of 7-10 years of project management experience delivering complex IT projects is a must.

    Minimum of 5 years of Information Security/Cyber Security experience is a must.

    IT infrastructure experience is strongly desirable.

    Team management experience (6+ direct reports) is strongly desirable.

    Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration or Computer Science.

    8+ years of full cycle technology project management experience, preferably with experience in SDLC (full-cycle software development) projects, from developing a conceptual idea to requirements gathering to system design, system build, system test, training, and cutover.

    Must have managed projects with budgets in excess of $2M and teams of more 10 people including "matrixed" resources.

    Extensive and proven experience managing stakeholders and an ability "to bring people together".

    Must have excellent people skills, excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing. Experience communicating and presenting to senior management and executives within a large organization is essential.

    Must display a sense of "urgency to get the job done".

    Solid experience with the management of risk, change, issues, time, scope,resources, budget, and quality

    Experience managing complex contracts.

    Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is a plus but not a mandatory requirement.

    Training and experience in best practice project management techniques and processes.

    Extensive and proven experience facilitating and managing consultation processes with a wide range of stakeholder groups.

    Proven ability to gain and use an understanding of the wider program goals in deciding the supporting project strategies/objectives.

    Proven ability to manage/coordinate activities and resources in conjunction with other inter-related projects for both internal and external programs and projects.

    Proven ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

    Experience developing and implementing technology projects and business process initiatives designed to improve efficiencies.

    Experience gathering and analyzing functional and technical requirements and information from key business areas.
