Job Purpose and Impact


The Reliability Excellence Supervisor Electrical will supervise and execute the deployment of overall leading maintenance practices aligned to production needs.

In this role, you will lead a team that executes routine complex activities to maintain and improve capacity utilization and quality standards realized through reliable operations across the region.

Key Accountabilities


Plan, schedule and supervise the execution of specific electrical equipment maintenance for each asset involved with safe and efficient movement of grain through the terminal.

Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the electrical department including instrumentation, controls systems and safety.
Implement and monitor methodologies to improve operational effectiveness in compliance with regulatory codes and standards.
Lead the integration of contractor partners and equipment providing support to the plant force.
Partner with regional and global leadership to develop area leading practices.
Oversee the development of the operational related budget to track the area progress against the estimate.

Lead and develop a team of electricians and technologist, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.

Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications
Diploma/Certificate or Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of four years of related work experience
Experience working in a union environment, in a supervisory capacity
Proficient in Microsoft Office and work management systems (as SAP, kronos)
Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada Preferred Qualifications
Experience overseeing third party resources to deliver business results
Knowledge of related tools, processes controls and area technology systems
Two years of supervisory experience
Experience leading and developing a team of electricians and technologist
Experience working in a commodity export facility
Extensive experience with programming logic controller and human machine interface
